Know professional responsibilities in relation to the safeguarding of adults, children and young people at risk
Understand why Chaperones may need to be present
Know who(m) to contact and where to seek advice if there are concerns
Understand the latest legislation, guidance and best practice advice
Be confident to raise concerns and take action
Understand the importance of making records, sharing information and the consequences of failing to do so

This 2 hour Chaperone course is aimed at ALL staff that have contact with safeguarding children, young people, and /or adults.
This course ensures delegates understand their roles and responsibilities concerning all aspects of being a formal chaperone.
